ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced production worker to join our client’s team. This is a temp to perm position with the opportunity to grow within a leading organisation.Please note, candidates must be based in Christchurch with valid long term NZ visa, or residency to be considered.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee a team of 5-6 in production to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate with the procurement coordinator to ensure timely completion of orders.
- Communicate effectively with the storeperson to ensure proper dispatch of orders.
- Take sole charge of workflow in the absence of the factory manager.
- Work closely with the quality process team to enhance product quality.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Proven experience in cosmetic production or a similar industry.
- Strong understanding of production processes and business operations.
- Experience working in a small team and hands-on environment.
- Uplifting energy, a proactive attitude, and a willingness to grow with the team.
- Proficiency in computer skills and administrative tasks.
- Able to pass a pre employment drug test & Ministry of Justice check
