The role is a hunting role with business opportunities right here in Christchurch and the wider South Island. Travel will be required in the role and you will need to identify new business opportunities and close off the sale.ABOUT YOU
Due to the industry terms and complexities of understanding the operational side of freight forwarding, our ideal candidate would ideally have freight forwarding experience. We are keen to hear from existing BDM’s, as well as individuals on the senior operational side of freight forwarding hungry to give sales a crack.- B2B solution selling experience
- Cold calling experience
- Strong time management
- Strong communication; verbal and written
- Excellent negotiation and numerical skills
- Professional attitude and presentation as well as highly motivated
- A thirst for challenges, and you’re not afraid of hard work
